Tobia Scarpa's CIÀCOLA carries a large glass top on a pair of crossed solid-wood trestles of 110 × 50 mm section, joined to the top by deliberately exposed steel fasteners. The legs splay outward and land on non-slip stainless steel floor plates, keeping the ends of the table completely clear.
Construction
- Solid wood base, 110 × 50 mm section, with non-slip stainless steel floor plates
- European walnut base with 19 mm extra light tempered glass, polished edge, visible stainless steel fasteners
- Coal-grey stained ash base with 10+10 mm lead grey tempered laminated glass, polished bevelled edge, visible matt black lacquered steel fasteners
- Height 75 cm

- 248 × 100 cm — 181 kg (walnut) / 190 kg (ash)
The base wood and the glass colour are paired: walnut is supplied with the extra light top, coal-grey stained ash with the lead grey top.
